I have been teaching for 15+ years. I have taught pre-K through second grade. I am originally from Harrells, NC. I just recently moved to Raleigh. I attended Meredith College, so I am very familiar to the Raleigh area and am glad to be back! I have two daughters. I love spending time at the beach or the mountains. I love walking, traveling and being outside. I am so excited to be here at MECME and can't wait to have an amazing year with my students!

Why our theme is exciting...

I am so excited to be able to teach my students about taking care of our environment and community. I think it is so important for us to share with our children how to give back to their community and world. It will be a great new adventure to have an outside classroom and learn more about things in our outside world!
