I'm excited to support both our Environmental Connections magnet classes, Expeditions and Environmental Inquiry. I love to learn and my favorite thing about teaching is hearing the curiosities and wonders of kids. I work to foster an environment where students are collaborating with their peers and discovering new things about the world around them through hands-on and real-world learning. After multiple years of coaching teachers in Project Based Learning, I'm looking forward to working to strengthen all the great Project Based Learning opportunities that MECME offers. 

I love gardening and spending time outdoors with my family. I'm a graduate of NC State and a lifelong wolfpack fan.
