This is my 25th year in education. Over the years, I have been an elementary school teacher, district/school leader, and instructional coach.

 I grew up in Philadelphia where my parents and extended family still live. I received my undergraduate degree from Penn State University and my master's degree from Johns Hopkins University. My family and I love to travel, take long walks, and spend time outdoors.

Why I like working with kids...

I'm so excited to work with students in grades K-3 this year to inspire them to enjoy books and reading. I love the Heroes Read program because it gives students the space and opportunity to just have fun with books.
