I am a graduate of Kean University in Union New Jersey. I received a B.A. in Elementary Education and a minor in Spanish. I have 14 years of experience teaching grades PK-4. I was born in Puerto Rico but raised in Newark, New Jersey. I am fluent in Spanish because I attended school in Puerto Rico where I also learned how to speak English. My passion is music and the arts. I have a minor course of study in music theory and performance from Jersey City State University. I play guitar and percussion along with several other instruments.

Why I teach...

I teach to instill the love of learning and to help youngsters become productive citizens. I love to get my students excited about their education.
