Hi! My name is Emily Schofield, and I am so excited to be a school counselor at MECME!  I graduated with my BS in Elementary Education from NCSU (go pack!) before moving to UNC-Chapel Hill to complete my M.Ed. in School Counseling.

I grew up in London, England, before moving to North Carolina about 10 years ago! I love the growing diversity (and weather) of North Carolina!  My hobbies include working with my horses, and hanging with my rescue cat, named Chunky!

I have always loved the outdoors, and have owned horses and worked outside since I was about 4 years old. I am so excited to help the next generation become curious about and respect animals and nature.
