Hi! My name is Liana Favale, and this will be my first year teaching at Millbrook. I am so excited about teaching kindergarten because helping students to build their confidence in the classroom and develop the foundational skills they will need to be successful in life is my passion. Plus, kindergarten is just so much fun!

I am originally from Richmond, Virginia. I graduated from Christopher Newport University in May, 2022 with my Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Master's degree in Elementary Education. I just moved down to Raleigh about a month ago and am absolutely loving it so far! Outside of the classroom, I enjoy going for runs, reading a good book, and playing with my sweet cat named Smoosh.

Why I like working with kids...

I love working with kids because every day brings something new and exciting. Just as they learn from me, I feel like I learn something new from my students every day. I love having the opportunity to build connections with my students and being able to laugh and have fun together.
