I have been a school nurse since 2019. Prior to that, I worked in a Pediatric ICU for 12 years. I went to East Carolina University for undergrad and Southern New Hampshire University for my master's. I live in Wake Forest with my husband, twin 10-year-old boys, 10-year-old step-daughter, 15-year-old step-daughter and a sweet Pug and Schnauzer. I love being outside and gardening. I love being a school nurse because I enjoy helping students and their families bridge the gap between school and medical providers. My goal is to help students be as healthy as possible to learn better.
