Hi! My name is Emily Pendergrass, and I am so excited to be a part of the MECME Community. I am originally from New Jersey and lived a few places before coming to Raleigh for college. I am a proud graduate of NC State University (GO PACK!) for my undergraduate degree, Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with a Concentration in Human Nutrition, and Meredith College for a Master of Science in Human Nutrition.

When not at school, I love to be outside– exploring a park, walking with my dogs, doing yard work, and working in my garden. My husband and I are proud parents to our daughter who graduated from the WCPSS Magnet School Program in 2023.
