My name is Shana Rogosich. I am truly excited to join the MECME family. I have been in education for 16 years. I have taught Kindergarten, Preschool Special Education and North Carolina Pre-Kindergarten.

I have a B.S. in Child Life Studies from East Carolina University and a Birth-Kindergarten Certification from North Carolina Central University. I am a product of a military family. I spent my formative years traveling the world. This has solidified my passion for travel. To date, my favorite destination has been Kruger National Park in South Africa.

I have been married to my husband Mike for 18 years. We have two lovely daughters Micah (17) and Miranda (15), who thankfully share the traveling bug!

What excites me about Environmental Connections...

I am excited about our school magnet theme of Environmental Connections, because this is the perfect time in ones life to instill and promote a love for our natural world. Through this love we can encourage our young learners to take care of the world beginning right here in our own backyard.
