I was born in San Francisco, California. I grew up in a nearby city, San Mateo. This is my sixth year teaching fourth grade but I have been working with children for over 15 years! I have two sisters and a half brother. My parents were born and raised in the Philippines and moved to the United States after graduating college. I graduated from San Jose State University in San Jose, California with a bachelors of arts in Child and Adolescent Development.

I love football (Go 49ers!), everything Marvel, reading, traveling, rock climbing, playing all kinds of games, and hanging out with my family. I am so excited to join the MECME family!

What I love about our magnet theme...

I love our school magnet theme of Environmental and Community Connections because it is so important to take care of our neighborhood, city, and planet! Our planet is so amazing and filled with so many wonders. At MECME we learn about many of these wonders and how to take care of them at the same time!
