Hi! 

My name is Miss Sheahen and I grew up in Charlotte, NC. I graduated from Western Carolina University in May 2018 and earned my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Minor in Psychology. I’ve been teaching at Vandora Springs Elementary since 2018!

Being a teacher has always been my dream job and I absolutely love it! My favorite part about teaching is the relationships I build with my kids when they are in our room and the ones we keep once they have moved onto the next grade level and beyond. The most bittersweet day of the school year for me is the last day! It’s so exciting to see how much they’ve all grown, but it’s always hard to lose the class family we all created together. I always want my kids and their families to know that I am here for them through it all! 

We are going to learn so much this year! Things may feel challenging at times, but just know that I will always be there for you and that I want nothing more than to watch you grow and succeed! Our class is a family, and I cannot wait for you to be a part of it! I am so excited to get this year started and learn more about you!
