Hello, Eagles! I am the fifth grade coach and reading teacher at Vandora Springs Elementary School. I have been teaching at Vandora Springs since 2001. I have taught fifth grade and second grade for many years. I also attended Vandora Springs as a child and my mom was the school secretary. I graduated from East Carolina University with a degree in Elementary Education and then I worked to receive my reading specialist certificate for K-12.  

I believe that all students can succeed but they must give their best effort. I will be working with small groups of students to provide support with the fifth grade curriculum. I’m looking forward to another great year at our school! In my spare time, I enjoy being on the boat, working in the yard, and my sweet bully girl, Millie!
