Hello Everyone,

I am Sandy Avery, the cafeteria manager at Vandora Springs Elementary School! Born and raised here in Garner, North Carolina, I am a proud graduate and now a parent of the Wake County Public School System. I started my career as a CNS Assistant Manager in 2021 and have managed three other schools in Wake County.

I believe strongly in inclusion and partnership while working together to meet the common goal of developing strong and healthy children and communities.

Despite my outgoing personality, you can mostly find me snuggled at home watching a good movie or series. But don't get me wrong, I am open to having anyone join me! When I'm feeling a little spontaneous, I'll head out to do some bargain shopping because I love a good deal! In both situations, I'm going to find something to eat, as I enjoy trying new and trending restaurants of all kinds.

I'm so excited to be a part of the Eagle Family and can't wait to watch our kids SOAR as they work to meet their dreams and goals!
