Hello Eagle Families!

 

I am super excited to be a part of Vandora Springs Elementary! I am the EBS I teacher and have been teaching since 2022 and have experience working with pre-k and 7th grade students. I graduated from East Wake High School in Wendell, NC and attended Winston Salem State University where I graduated with a degree in psychology. Following college, I spent two years volunteering with Wake County AmeriCorps. I then started tutoring students and enjoyed it so much that I decided to go into education full-time! When I am not teaching, I enjoy going to the library and spending time with family and friends. I love nature and seeing the environment change. I also enjoy being by the water and enjoy fishing. It's so peaceful! 

 

My favorite saying is if you give a man a fish, he can eat for a day, but if you TEACH a man to fish, he can eat for a lifetime. My goal here at Vandora is to teach and show students the skills they need for a lifetime.
