Hello Eagles! My name is Erica Drapeau (DRAY-POE) and I am excited to be your Ready to Learn Facilitator at Vandora Springs ES serving our youngest kiddos and families! I have 23 years of teaching experience, 10 years supporting Preschool students and the last 13 years nurturing Kindergarten students! Those early developmental years are my favorite because there is simply so much joyful learning happening! 

I am originally from New Hampshire where I was raised and received my teaching certificate. I moved to North Carolina in 2001 and have enjoyed all of the adventures it has brought. I reside with my family in Garner,  just a few miles from Vandora Springs ES. It is an honor to serve the community I live in.

When I am not at school, you can find me getting dirty in one of my gardens. If I’m looking for something more relaxing, I love reading, puzzling, birding or cuddling up on the couch with my dogs. You can also find me visiting one of our handful of awesome local coffee shops. I strive to fill all that I do with gratitude, and I am thankful to soar with you as a Vandora Springs Eagle!
