Hello! My name is Cecilia Chianese and I am so excited to be a part of the Vandora Springs community!

 

I grew up in central New Jersey but moved to Virginia in 2018 for college! I graduated in 2023 with my Masters of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg. After graduation I decided to move to Raleigh to start my teaching career!

 

I believe that all students are unique and bring so many new and exciting experiences into the classroom. I look forward to getting to learn more about each and every one of them to make this year as successful as possible for all of us! Community plays a big role in learning so in my classroom we will strive to be each others biggest cheerleaders always! 

 

Some fun things I enjoy outside of the classroom include hanging out with friends, going on walks, reading books, visiting the beach and exploring new coffee shops or places to eat!
