I am so excited to be a part of the Eagle Family! I grew up in Selma and attended Johnston County Public Schools, graduated from Smithfield-Selma Senior High School, and studied Speech Communication and Religious Studies at UNC-Chapel Hill. I am a former Regional Director of Operations for a national staffing company, specializing in sales and recruiting. I began my career in education when my daughters started school, serving as both an Instructional Assistant and Tutor in grades Kindergarten through Third Grade, including an English Language Learners Interim.  Having sales and marketing experience is helpful in the classroom, as it gives me the tools to capture students’ attention and maintain their interest. I am is married to my college sweetheart, James Brantley, a career high school math instructor, and we have two daughters, Mollie and Emilee, who are both college students, as well as a very silly American Foxhound named Bailee Rey!
