Hello second grade families! 

My name is Mrs. Glandorf. I’ve been a part of Vandora Springs since 2012. I started out as a parent volunteer, then Instructional Assistant, and now Teacher. I love the staff and families at this school. Both of my daughters went all through Vandora and are successful because of the love and nurturing they got from the teachers here. Olivia graduated from Garner Magnet High School Suma Cum Laude and is now at NC State and Payton is in their International Baccalaureate program. My son Aiden also attends GMHS. He has cerebral palsy and is in a special classroom. My husband Jim and I are originally from Cincinnati, OH but moved here in 2000.  

Building relationships with my students is very important to me. Positive relationships lead to a solid class community where students feel safe, loved, and supported in their learning. I encourage my students to support one another, take chances and celebrate what makes us unique! 

Outside the classroom I love spending time with my family, trips to the beach, going to movies and laughing and being silly. Some of my favorite things are Mickey Mouse, Tropical Smoothie, Starbucks, Target, Reese Cups and Lays potato chips (the ones in the yellow bag).
