My name is Aleeya Steward. I was born and raised in North Carolina and graduated from Knightdale High School in 2014. I attended Greensboro College and finished with a BA in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology. After I graduated, I started my career as a Juvenile Counselor Technician at Guilford County Juvenile Detention Center. While working there, my passion for working with children grew stronger and I wanted to shift my focus on helping kids become more involved in school and taking it more seriously. After 3 years of working at the detention center I began working at a middle school in Winston-Salem, NC as a Behavioral Modification Technician. 

My hobbies involve going to the gym, gardening, going to the park with my dog, and spending time with my niece and nephew. 

I am so excited to be apart of the team and I look forward to supporting the children here at Vandora Springs Elementary. Go Eagles!
