Hello! I am excited to be the social worker for our Eagle families! I am originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, where I obtained my bachelor's degree in social work. I moved to North Carolina in 2021 and worked in Applied Behavioral Analysis Therapy for two years before pursuing my master's in social work at UNC. I use a strengths-based perspective to connect with kiddos and aid in providing students with the tools to be successful in and outside the classroom. A key part of my role as a social worker is to provide support and work to eliminate educational barriers.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time outside running, hiking, and spending quality time with friends and family. I am an avid book reader and cat lover.
