Hello Vandora Springs Family,

 

My name is Ms. Gina Falciglia. I grew up on Long Island, New York, and I have a dual bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Psychology from Dowling College. I have been in the teaching profession for over 20 years, and found my school family as a first-grade teacher here at Vandora Springs in 2019. I LOVE being a teacher! It has been my passion since I was in second grade, and I am very excited to be teaching Kindergarten. It is amazing to see when a child has a light bulb moment, and everything he/she has been learning all makes sense to him/her. I have a genuine love for learning, and I try to pass that on to all of my children while they are in my class. Together there isn’t anything we can’t learn! 

 

When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family; my husband Joe, my son Anthony, my daughter Josie and my mother-in-law Lillian. We have 5 dogs and a cat named Parker (he keeps all those dogs in line!). I LOVE cooking and baking, and my FAVORITE place to relax is at the beach while reading a good book!
