I am Shenika McCray and I am thrilled to be a part of the Vandora Springs Elementary team!  I am from Raleigh, NC and I have had a passion for teaching since I was a little girl. I believe in working hard, listening, growing, and always doing what’s best for the children! Seeing a child's face light up with joy as they learn and discover is what makes teaching worthwhile! I have my teaching credentials from Haywood Community College, and I am currently a full-time student at Wake Tech Community College studying for my Associates in Early Childhood Education. When I am not in the classroom, I am a super mom of two children, I enjoy doing arts & crafts, DIY projects, and color/paint by numbers.
