Hi!  I’m Wendy Futrell and I have had the privilege of teaching at Vandora Springs for 19 years.  I taught first and second grade and then I became the Instructional Facilitator, Math Coach, and Intervention teacher.  I love helping teachers and students to do their best and to grow to their full potential.  I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from WV State University and my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Developmental Supervision from NC State University.

My three kids also went to Vandora and now Hailey is an Instructional Assistant here and Chloe is a substitute while getting her nursing degree!  It’s definitely a great place to be and learn!  We live in Benson with our 2 dogs: Blue and Charlie!  We enjoy spending time outside and going to the beach!
