I am excited about being your art teacher! I believe that all humans can be artistic if they find the right medium and inspiration. I run a TAB style classroom where the student is the artist and the classroom is their studio. Our art studio is a space where process is valued over product and I am the guide, along for the ride! I was born and raised in Queens, New York and received my Bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Purchase College. I earned my Master’s degree from City University of New York at Queens College. I began my teaching career in 2002 and relocated to Raleigh in 2005. My first house was in Garner, just up the street from VSE, and I am excited to be back on my old stomping grounds! 

When I am not teaching, I am probably building, moving and creating with my husband Olivier, our 3 kids, Kye, Aubree and Chloe and our sweet dog Belle.
