Hello, Ram families!  This is Mrs. Lassiter, RHS principal, calling with a couple of things that I need to share.  I first want to say that I am happy to be part of the RHS family and look forward to a great Rams experience.  Many of us have a history together and I look forward to continuing that relationship!

With regard to the work we are doing this summer, we have many things in motion.  You will see that there are some revisions being made to the website to prepare for the start of the year.  We have already updated the information pertaining to student parking and lunch passes.  I will be in contact with you about the dates to come to the school to secure passes in the beginning of August. 

We will also be adding documents as they are revised.  I will periodically mention these to draw your attention to them after they have been loaded.

After we finalize schedules, we plan to mail them along with a newsletter to address important dates and information that students and families will need to start the year.

Rising freshmen are reminded that Ram Camp is a really important step in your transition to high school.  It is set for August 10th.  You need to go to the school website to register right away, so we can plan for your attendance.  Information about Ram Camp is also posted to the site.

Coaches want to remind students who plan to try out for fall sports that you need to access the athletics website for the requirements to be eligible to try out.  Most sports begin try outs on Monday, August 1st.  Specific times are listed on the website.  Those interested in cheerleading will begin tryouts on August 8th.

There will be Color Guard tryouts held at Rolesville High School in the Band Room (1103) on Saturday, July 16th from 9am to 3pm.  Any interested student should wear comfortable clothes and shoes as dance will be included.  There is no experience needed to try out, but we are looking for students who have a passion to learn a new art form and who want to be a part of the award winning marching band.  Students should sign up on the band website at www.rolesvillehsband.com.  Email Mr. Turner directly if there are any questions at lturner@wcpss.net.
