Hello, Ram families! This is Mrs. Lassiter calling with the weekly announcements from Rolesville High School. I am sorry that I did not get this out earlier, but I ran out of gas on Friday!
First of all, we still have one performance remaining for “You Can’t Take It with You”. The RHS theater troupe wanted me to remind you that they will perform again on Saturday evening at 7 PM. Tickets will be for sale at the door.
Earlier this week, we had a Rolesville Business Alliance meeting. We are currently planning for the SECU Reality of Money exercises. We will run sessions during the morning and afternoon of December 1st. We are in need of volunteers to run the stations. We are looking for volunteers to help with the scripted plans. Students in the past have found the exercises to be very meaningful, so it would be wonderful for parents to help us. You just need life experience with juggling funds and you can handle it!
Freshman Academy will have a meeting for parents on Monday evening, November 21st, from 6-7 PM. They hope to see freshman parents to talk about transition into high school and ways to continue to support students during this incredibly important first year if high school. We hope to see you here.
Advisory classes reviewed the plan for exams during January on Friday. We are trying to get this information to you soon, to allow you to make plans and understand how we are organizing the exam schedule for this first semester. We will provide written documentation to bring home to you next week. We will also put information on the web.
We will only be in school Monday and Tuesday of the upcoming week. Wednesday is a teacher workday and Thursday and Friday are holidays. I also want to remind you that the week we return, there is an early release day on Friday, Dec. 2nd.
Have a great weekend!!!!
