Don’t forget - Wake County College Fair:  It has been rescheduled for Oct. 7th from 2-4 PM at NCSU’s McKimmon Center.  Students should plan to take a bag to collect materials that are distributed by the colleges.

Wake Tech and College and Career Promise:  This is an awesome way to get free college credit.  WTCC requires that parents and students attend a meeting before applying.  Look it up on the web and attend a meeting nearby. Go to ccp.waketech.edu.

Wake Tech Northern Campus (Bldg E) - 6 PM on Wednesday, Oct. 10

Wake Tech Northern Campus (Bldg E) - 6 PM on Tuesday, Oct. 16

Financial Aid Night:  It has be scheduled for Wednesday, October 17th from 6:00 - 7:00 PM in the Media Center.

Volunteer Registration: You are already aware that you must either register for the first time or renew your registration each year.  We need this to be done before the end of October and it must be done onsight (any WCPSS site). RHS will need your help with test proctoring and other volunteer events.  Please make sure you ask about registration for the volunteer system when you are at the school and we will set you up.

Wake Electric Annual Youth Tour:  They sponsor an annual tour and join with 1500 students from across the country to learn about electric coops, American history and government.  We had a RHS student attend last year and he was awarded a $1000 scholarship to attend. The trip is June 15-21. Applications are due on Dec. 12 by 5:00 PM.  Details can be found at www.youthtour.coop.  Students are not required to live in a home served by Wake Electric to apply.  Questions can go to Wake Electric at commuications@wemc.com.

Nov. 6th Opening:  WCPSS schools will open on a two-hour delay on election day.

From PTSA - Meeting on 9-10-18

    • Publix has changed their way to link for the school.  Instead of the cards, you now need to go online at www.Publix.com and create an account.  You will get a link where you will confirm your email.  You will then return to the Publix site, go to your account and scroll to the bottom of the page.  Look for “My Publix Partner” and select Rolesville High School PTSA. Also, be certain to select your local Publix.
    • Please remember to join.  The easiest method is through the MemberHub.   https://rolesvillehsptsa.memberhub.store.
    • Please, please remember to register to be a volunteer.  You must do this at a WCPSS school or office building.
