    Senior Day, May 25th:  The day was AWESOME!  Yes, rehearsal was long and the day was tiring. However, we had a GREAT rehearsal.  The weather was great after all for the cookout and games.  Thank you, PTSA!!!  To top it off, the awards ceremony was a wonderful event.  Senior Rams, we are so incredibly proud of you!  Next stop, practice at RCC on June 9th at 10:30 AM and then June 14th at 8:00 AM…GRADUATION DAY!

    Goodbye, to Mr. Carrington!  Mr. Carrington shared his last hoorah with us this past week.  He will be moving to Green Hope HS as an Assistant Principal beginning June 1st.  We were more than blessed to have him as an Administrative Intern this year at RHS.

    Senior Fees and Fines:  These must be cleared before a student can walk for graduation.  We still have students who owe money.

    Memorial Day, May 29th:  We thank all who have served and lost their lives in service to our country.  We also remember the families who have lost loved ones in service.  As we are out of school on Monday, I hope we all take time to remember the real reason we are out of school.

    Exams, Spring, 2017:  Teacher-made exams will be Thursday and Friday of this week.  The following week, we have CTE, NCFE and EOC exams.  The schedule is posted on our website.  Remember that exams count 20% of the final grade.

    Planning for the summer:  It is very important that we accurate information in Powerschool.  Please let us know if there are changes over the summer.  Mrs. Lassiter will continue to communicate through emails and texts.  If you have not opted in to the text option, we recommend that you do so, since we no longer have the voice mail option for weekly announcements. We will plan to send a summer mailer early August.  It is critical that we have accurate mailing information, as well.  If there are changes to address, phone or email contact information, please do not delay informing us of the updates.

    Watching the website for communications this summer:  We will also set the dates for juniors and seniors to purchase parking spaces and lunch passes before the year begins.  It is very important that students and parents watch the website and Twitter for updates for the dates and times in August that we will be available to take care of business.
