    PTSA Request for Donations:  Each year during December, PTSA gathers goodies for staff to stuff their own goodie bags after the staff meeting.  Please visit the link to sign up for donations ahead of time or help set it up on the afternoon of December 4th. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0B44A5AE2FA3FC1-teachers 

     

    SECU Members: If you go into the Rolesville Branch, stop to see the work of our ceramics and sculpture art students.  Their Udu Drum and Sgraffito Boxes will be on display until the end of November.

     

    Last Day to Order Caps and Gowns - There was some type of mix-up, so the new date is December 6th during lunches.

     

    Jostens Ring Delivery:  It will also be Dec. 6th during lunches.

     

    Football Play-off game on 11/22:  The game at Wake Forest HS will begin at 7:30 PM.  

     

    Preparations for the Practice ACT on Nov. 23rd:  The Practice ACT test will be given on this Saturday, November 23, 2019, and students should arrive at the campus (entering in the back parking lot) by 7:30 am to be checked in on the first-floor cafeteria commons. The test will start at 8:00 am and should last approximately 4 hours, and student rides should be here by 11:30 am. Students will need a picture ID, #2 pencil (no mechanical pencils), snack/bottled water, and dress for the weather (sweater or coat in case it is cold). Students really need to be present for this test to help prepare for the real ACT which is a test used for college admissions.  The real test will be given free to all Juniors in February.     Items from Rolesville Athletic Club:

    1. Don’t forget, we have lots of new stuff including blankets, long sleeve t-shirts, pom-poms, hoodies & winter hats. As always, you can order online or purchase at the game.
    2. All sports Punch Card Passes are discounted for the month of November from $50 to $25. They will be available whenever merchandise & apparel are on sale.

     

    National Achievers Society:  They are holding food and toiletry drive to support Interact.  Homerooms will be part of a competition. Items they will collect from Nov. 4-22 are  

    Toiletry Items:  Hand Soap, Shower gel, Shaving cream, Shampoo / Conditioner,  Disposable Shower Caps, Stick deodorant, Toothpaste, Toothbrushes, Toilet tissue, Box tissue, Combs/brushes,  Hand Sanitizer and Feminine hygiene products

    Food Items: Bottled water,  Crackers/Nabs, Dried fruits and nuts (individually wrapped), Granola bars, Juice boxes, Microwave meals (non-frozen), Microwave mac/cheese and Microwave instant mashed potatoes

    PTSA Needs Your Support:  Any and all of these would be a great help.

    1. Please join PTSA!  Forms were in the students’ first day packets.
    2. Harris Teeter wipes out links from their cards to schools in June each year.  PLEASE link your HT card to Rolesville High School again.
