Hello, Rolesville High School families.  This is Mrs. Lassiter calling with updates in preparation for upcoming weeks.  Let me remind you that we post the transcript to the website for anyone who misses part of the voice mail.

Monday, we will run our last day of the first 10-days of school schedule.  Tuesday, we will start the typical Tuesday schedule with Ram Readiness. 

I need to make sure parents and anyone picking up students in carpool understand that we follow one pathway into and out of the carpool lane.  Passing others or going the wrong direction is dangerous for both drivers and students who might be walking.  Please refrain from any pathway except the one proper flow of traffic.

After school activity buses began their routes on Tuesday, Sept. 6th.  This information is posted in classrooms and on the Student Services information board.  Students who use the bus must have a pass from the coach or teacher with whom they have been working after school.  Students who do not have a legitimate pass will not be allowed to ride the after school activity buses.

Senior conferences will begin with counselors on September 14th.  Sophomore through senior students whose last names begin with N-Z will have a new counselor on board beginning Tuesday, Sept. 6th.  Her name is Mrs. Jacqueline Harris.

Open House is set for Thursday, September 15th from 6:30-8:00 PM.  Parents will begin with a brief meeting in the auditorium and will then follow your student’s schedule to meet the teachers and get detailed course information.

PTSA switched its Zaxby’s evening to September 19th.  Please make note on your calendar.

Don’t forget that the Oct. 15th administration of the PSAT requires registration online by September 16th.  This is a very quick turnaround.  Please reference the letter we sent home last week for very important information.

The Wake County College Fair is set for September 18th from 2-4:30 PM at NC State University McKimmon Center.

Seniors and parents are invited to attend senior parent night on Sept. 20 at 6:30 PM. Please plan to attend as the counselors will present important information pertaining to the year.  Seniors can now access the online school payments on our website to pay the $40 for senior fees. Please check the Parents tab on the website. 

I have information regarding our graduations for the year.  Mid-year graduation will be Thursday, January 26th at 6:30 PM in our auditorium.  Spring graduation will be 8 AM on Wednesday, June 14th at the Raleigh Convention Center.  Rehearsal will be June 9th at 10:30 AM.
