Student Dropoff

Parents, please do not use the rear entrance or bus loop to drop off or pick up students.  This continues to be dangerous behavior and we would like to prevent any students from being hit by vehicles. As we are monitoring the carpool line, it has been consistently clear before the tardy bell rings.  

Seniors ONLY

Be sure that MCV immunization records are up to day by MONDAY 10/31/22.  12th-grade students that do not have this on file will be asked to leave school and not return until it is updated. 

Winter Ball

The winter formal is scheduled for December 10th.  Students who are going to invite a guest, MUST pick up a guest form and have it turned in a week prior to the ball.

Student Parking/Leaving Campus

If you have a child that parks on campus, encourage them to park in their assigned spot.  Several students have been ticketed and multiple vehicles have been towed (at the owner’s expense) for repeated offenses. 

Also, ONLY Junior and Senior students with off-campus passes are allowed to leave campus during lunch.  Other students caught leaving campus will get immediate consequences and risk the opportunity of getting an off-campus pass when they are eligible. 

Updates from RHS Career Services

• Wake Tech Information Session- 11/21/22:

  • A representative from Wake Tech will be on RHS' campus to offer an Information Session from 10AM - 11AM for any 11th & 12th graders who are interested in knowing more about Wake Technical Community College. Students will be able to meet with Mr. Fabre, Wake Tech Community College representative, and ask questions about curriculum, college transfer, health science programs, admissions processes, tutoring, athletics & clubs/organizations on campus.

  • In addition, Mr. Fabre will assist 12th grade students with the application for enrollment from 11AM-12PM.

    • A Google Calendar invite will be sent to your WCPSS email a few days before the session you registered.  Students who signed up for the Application Session will receive specific appointment times to meet with the representative.  Please accept the invite and use the electronic information as your pass to the event.
