Hello, Ram families!  This is Mrs. Lassiter calling with the announcements from Rolesville High School for this week a little early.  I wanted to make sure you have plenty of time to prepare for next week’s events.

Remember that athletic tryouts begin on Monday for all fall sports except cheerleading.  Students must have completed the online registration and must have the required physical.  This process is different from the past.  Keep in mind that former RHS athletes in addition to all new, prospective athletes need to complete these requirements.

Rising freshmen need to register for Ram Camp which will be held on Aug. 10th.  Please DO NOT wait until the last minute to sign-up.  We must prepare materials and food, so we need you to sign up right away.

It is very important that you remember that we will start the processes for lunch and parking permits for Seniors on Monday and repeat on Tuesday and Wednesday from 9-11 am.  We will do the same for Juniors on Thursday and Friday at the same time.  It is imperative that you go online to review information that we will post this evening to help you prepare.  Note that the form must be notarized before you come to school.  We will not provide that service for you.  The list of items you will need to bring are listed on the form.  We are also posting directions to help with the process.  Your visit will be much easier if you use Online School Payments and bring a printed receipt with you.

Remember that band camp starts on Monday and runs through the next two weeks.  Please follow directions as provided by Mr. Turner.

If you are receiving this voice mail, it is because your student is slated to come to RHS.  It is very important to notify us now if there is a change in plans.  We need accurate information for planning purposes.

Lastly, we sent the summer mailings to families earlier this week.  It is my hope that they will arrive in the next day or so if they have not already arrived.
