Congratulations to our Mr. Kohring, Ms. Verhoeven, RHS Winter Percussion Ensemble and RHS Winter Guard:  Last weekend, RHS hosted an enormous competitive event for percussion ensembles and guards from across the state.  Thank you, parents and students, for all the work on Friday and Saturday for pulling together for a completely classy act.  The hours to set up, run and take down everything were many and hard, but the event all of you pulled together makes RHS proud.  Not only did all of you set up, but I want to mention thanks for cleaning the grounds to make us look fresh and presentable for the many programs who would roll onto campus for competition.  I would be remiss if I did not mention the leadership of Mr. Kohring regarding this event and many more. Lastly, the RHS Winter Percussion Ensemble placed first in their division in the competition just as they did at the Panther Creek competition just days before.  #RHSRamPride

PTSA Nominations:  Our wonderful PTSA Board is already thinking about next year.  They very much want to know if there are folks who are interested in a position on the Board who are not presently represented.  Please contact the school or a present Board member to let us know you are interested.

Planning ahead for current juniors:  In the past few summers, seniors have taken portraits at a studio in Raleigh.  We have been in conversation this past week and are very likely going to host tux/drape, cap and gown, informals at RHS during the week of July 30-Aug. 3 as opposed to a studio off site.  I wanted to give you a heads up that we are trying to make the trip shorter and the effort easier to accomplish over the summer. There will be more information to come later, but I thought it would be important to let you know given it is a shift in the way we have done business in the past.
