Hello, Ram families!  This is Mrs. Lassiter calling with the weekly announcements from Rolesville High School.

The NHS sponsors delivered all applications to students who are eligible.  If you think your child should be eligible and did not get a letter, please let us know.

Graduation planning is underway.  Current NHS Seniors need to order stoles for graduation online.  All seniors who will graduate in June have been told repeatedly that they need to place their cap and gown orders asap at Jostens.com.  Currently, the price is $75.  We have also reviewed Latin Honors with the students and reminded them that grades count through the third nine weeks.  Honors ranks will be pulled on April 21st.

On Tuesday, April 4th, we invite all seniors and their parents to Senior Parent Information Night.  The session will begin at 6 pm in the main gym at Rolesville High School.  Please come out and join us as we share important information with our 2017 graduates and their families.

This is a reminder to any student planning to take an AP Exam, they need to register by February 28th. The link to register can be found on the RHS home page under AP Exam Registration.  Keep in mind that AP HuG and AP Euro will be administered on May 12th, which is a teacher workday.

We are selling prom tickets for juniors and seniors on Tuesday and Thursday mornings before school.

Junior families, remember that ACT administration will be Tuesday.  It is very important that students be at school on time.

We are inviting all sophomore students and their parents to Sophomore Parent Night on Tuesday, March 7th  at 6pm in the main gym at Rolesville High School. Please come and join the event as we will share important information.

We are likely going to open up registration for families to do on Powerschools from home, but we are planning to allow students to register onsite on March 14th.

A group of Rolesville High School students, under the guidance of our very own Mrs. Lidia Alarcón,  has established "El Informativo de Rolesville". It is a student-led publication whose goal it is to gather, translate, and present important information relating to different school events via the school website for predominantly Spanish-speaking families in our community. Check it out on our website and please help to direct families to this information.

That will do it for this week.  Make it a great weekend!
